Watchara organic farm
The Watchara farm was created to support our community in various ways. We have a farm to provide us with healthy food, we help to maintain and construct local schools, and we help low-income students from local tribes to access programs and scholarships. Our organic farm with a Buddhist lifestyle is surrounded by nature, and with the help of volunteers, we also focus on natural construction and supporting local students, improving their access to a quality education. We offer a perfect place for walks in the woods, enjoying waterfalls, and tasting genuine Thai cuisine every day!

With the help of volunteers, we grow everything here organically and we have great appreciation for nature and spirituality. We’ve already established a series of projects with the help of volunteers, in diverse activities like gardening, construction, activities with children, meal preparation, and sanitation.

Our organization concentrates on providing support, education, health, drinkable water, and self-sufficient projects to families that need them in our community. We prioritize improving their well-being through diverse initiatives, from supporting education and agriculture to microfinancing and healthcare. Our fundamental values include being ambassadors for hope, responding to the need for and valuing education, health and the fight against hunger, and equal opportunities. With the objective of raising consciousness about HIV/AIDS and providing orientation and tools for life to children and families, we host volunteers who are passionate about making a difference, and we charge a small fee for food, water, and accommodation.

Agroecological Finca La Flor, managed by a nonprofit organization ASODECAH, is a beautiful place located in a peaceful village focused on promoting human and environmental consciousness. With more than 20 years of experience, this farm offers diverse programs that aim at promoting consciousness of sustainable living, organic farming, and multicultural connections. Volunteers contribute to this project while experiencing a rewarding and ecological lifestyle in the midst of stunning nature. We also offer activities like language lessons and yoga retreats with a multicultural team, and guarantee a welcoming and harmonious atmosphere where everyone can share meals and create meaningful connections.

Our objectives include supporting local inhabitants, preserving the environment, and caring for wildlife. Over the years, we’ve implemented various social impact initiatives, such as work opportunities, maintaining the school area, and beach clean-ups. Our founder, who has roots in this area, is passionate about nature and community development. This project offers volunteers the opportunity to disconnect and contribute with their strengths, promising a memorable and enriching experience for everyone involved.

At our project, we offer the opportunity to experience a real farming lifestyle and appreciate nature’s beauty. Volunteers help us with planting, weeding, harvesting, and other farm tasks, surrounded by beautiful mountains. The farm, managed by four generations, produces organic vegetables and raises animals organically as well. We encourage our volunteers to dive into the farm life, watch the sunsets, and enjoy this unique opportunity to learn, adapt, and become part of an international family.
